I received these lashes via Influenster in my Ja’dore voxbox and I must say they weren’t terrible. They were easy to apply and looked natural.
If you have never used faux lashes, they are SUPER easy! You only need a few easy steps…
1. Remove from package
2. Hold up to eyes and measure for proper length (cut if needed)
3. Apply lash glue, lightly, to strip of lashes
4. Place just above upper lash line
5. Let dry and apply mascara to make lashes blend
Easy as that!
This clay mask was part of my Influenster Ja’dore Voxbox. I had never heard of the brand and after trying the mask, I must say I want to try more! For the price listed above, it is a great product!
It actually mimics Glamglow’s Supermud (the white one) in how it looks and feels. Once it begins to dry and harden, it lights up your pores just as Glamglow does. After rinsing off, I did notice it didn’t clear out my pores as well as I hoped but for a $10 product, you can’t really complain!

Alright everyone, here is our first of 3 Montagne Jeunesse reviews!
This review is of the Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask.
The details: “Busy Bees have collected nectar from the Manuka Bushes of New Zealand creating Manuka Honey - a natural anti-bacterial cleanser. They source pollen & M.J. add the flower power of fragrant Jasmine” (http://www.montagnejeunesse.com/). Suitable for Combination to Oily skin types.
The price: approx. $1.99
My thoughts: Well, first I must say, going into this review I had a positive impression because of previous products I have tried so I was really excited! When looking at the packaging, it is a normal MJ package (pictured above), the curved, single use package was the same as others I have tried.
When opening this honey mask, the first thing I noticed is how much it really felt like I was pouring straight honey into my hand. While it smelled great, the consistency was a little too gooey and sticky for the packaging. I think for this product, a tube like package would work better.
Here is what it looks like fresh on your face:
After I put it on my face, I liked how it had a tingle effect to it and then I noticed after leaving it on for the 15-20 time frame it became tight on my face which is what I expected.
When the time was up and it was time to peel, it was actually a difficult process, not what I expected from this brand. It felt like it was almost peeling off a layer of skin, OUCH!
Here is the peeling process
and one more:
It was very thin when coming off and it didn’t come off all together, when I was done I had a pile of dried honey to clean up.
Now, while it was a messy process to get the mask on and a little hard to get off, I LOVED how it left my skin feeling. It felt clean and super soft. I encourage those with a tougher skin to try this because as I said, it is a little hard to peel off but it was well worth it.
I am completely honest and unbiased with my reviews as you can see, but honestly for $2, this was great. Every product will have it ups and downs but as long as it does what it says in the end, I will give it a thumbs up. And here is my face at the end:
On a scale of 1-10, I give this mask a 6.
If you have tried this mask, I would LOVE to hear your feedback!
